I get my Ivory Coast Dununs by way of Farafina Dambe, a company out of Ivory Coast that I have been in partnership with for several years. THEY ARE ONLY SOLD IN SETS OF 3, which includes dununba, songban and kenkeni. They are made of a light wood called Faliba, which makes them lighter than any other comparable dununs from Guinea, Mali or Senegal. They sound awesome! Working with Farafina Dambe, we have honed the quality of each drum to a point where they are virtually flawless in every way.
